Digital Offset
Our company uses only HP Indigo digital offset presses. These presses use liquid ink technology to ensure that the print quality & colour matching is equal to that achieved by offset printing. Other digital processes are toner-based & cannot replicate offset colour & quality.
The presses we us are:
- HP Indigo 3050 – prints 4 to 6 colours
- HP Indigo 1050 – prints 1, 2 & 4 colour bookwork
The benefits of HP Indigo digital offset printing for our customers are as follows:
- Personalisation with variable data. Each printed page can be unique, with only a marginal increase in cost. This is a quantum leap forward from conventional offset printing & the possibilities for creative use are endless.
- Quicker – plates are not required to be made & minimal prep time required prior to printing
- Cheaper for small runs – There are no plate & pre-press charges, less prep time & less wastage which means that a customer can order smaller print runs more regularly than they could under offset printing
- Books & catalogues are printed in page order. Offset printing requires a considerable number of plates & collation, so printing these items digitally & considerably cheaper. Also the colour is more consistent as it is run as one complete job as opposed to being run over a series of plates
- Wide variety of stock can be printed on, e.g. fridge magnet stock
These machines enable us to provide a full range of short run commercial print services, in particular:
- Annual Reports
- Business Cards
- Brochures
- Books, Catalogues & Booklets
- Flyers
- Invitations
- Postcards
- Posters
- Tickets
The key words to describe digital offset are versatility & quality. The versatility of the process enables us to deliver high quality work that offset either is not able to or could only do at a much greater cost.
Delivery to your door is free in the Auckland region.
